My 1st race That I went to was around 1975 The pits were in the middle of the track . Lot of races were won by A fast Nova #PP7 Al Poynter & Don Cox #17, I also remember there was a A fast Mustang #31 with the saying Ol' Half As Fast on the back of it & A fast Yellow Dodge Kit car out of Tenn, #3.
in 1976 the best race were Between Hubert Roark #1 57 Chevy & Jerry Master #21
One of the Best race I seen was in 1978 The 5th running of the Southeastern Ky. 150 3- 50 lap races. There were cars from KY.,Tenn., Ind.,Ohio, Ga,. Fla. & N.C. 24 cars started the feature. Also that day They had A Killer Mini stock race Lots of VW, With driver from Fla.,Tenn., Ohio
UASC Midgets came to race in 1980 They Were Fast in hotlaps, But Rain Came in right when they was getting readly to do Time Trails & they Never came back.
There was a ARCA Race in 1981, A great race. I cant remember who won. The only thing that I remember about the race is Jerry Churchill car & Rigg was stolen from the Motel in Corbin that night.

Ray Putnam #25 London Ky. Who ran in 12 snowball derbys best finish 3rd. also ran in the nascar busch (Sportman) series
